Tech giant Amazon continues to strive to provide a better and simpler experience to its customers through announcement about a new feature to be rolled out in its Fire TV units. Amazon recently announced that it will be launching a new tab labelled ‘Live’ to its Fire TV units which would go on and collect all the live programs running throughout the different apps which may be installed on the device by the owner.
The tech giant described the Live tab as one stop solution which “brings together your live sports, news, and channels from select OTT services, streaming apps (e.g. PlayStation Vue), paid subscriptions, and over-the-air antennas into one consolidated view.” The tab can be found on the main navigation menu of the Fire TV and groups all the channels which have been recently watched by you. It will also group up and display channels which show similar programmes to the ones which you watch, such as sport and breaking news. The tab hasn’t been rolled out actively as of now, with Amazon announcing that it will be live for the Fire TV owners in the coming week.
