The Apple executive Jony Ive, who was the brain in charge for the classic and eye catching look of the iPhone left the company previous week when years of feeling that designing at Apple has fallen from its level underneath Tim Cook, claims a brand new report. Jony Ive is attributed with the look of the Apple Watch, iPad and iPhone, had stepped back from the management way before he proclaimed that he would be going away from the corporate post almost thirty years, as per the Wall Street Journal.
The report urged that most of the explanation for this decision can be pointed towards Cook, who got the role of CEO post Steve Jobs’ death in 2011 and gave priority to Functionality over style. Ive and Steve worked along closely, causing the planning team to be thought of as “gods” during Steve’s tenure. Whereas Cook seldom stepped inside the designing studio, said the Journal.
Cook tried to make sure Ive is pleased with a elaborate title and big salary package. But Ive felt “dispirited” because Tim Cook “showed very little interest within the development method,” as per the report. What made things worse in Ive’s mind was that people having a background in functionality and finance were filling the board.
